ReplyDeleteRight? This reminds me of a specific GL novel I MTLed a couple weeks ago. The female lead and her family got kidnapped and the female protagonist disregarded her safety to go to her in order to make sure her lover and her family was safe. Of course, the villain was disposed of in that novel... but unfortunately for Xiao Qingcheng, the villain here is a cheat main character :/

Also if Xiao Qingcheng actually ends up liking the male protagonist I'm going to hurl. I don't have high hopes though because that "Unconditional Devotion" trait was included there for a reason.
